Privacy policy

We collect as little as possible, because data we never hold cannot be leaked, subpoenaed or sold.

Our desktop applications

• We collect no usage analytics. Not what you click, not how long you use it, not what is in your files.
• Error reports are the one exception, and they are opt in. If you turn them on, a crash sends us what failed and where. It never includes your documents, and you can turn it off again at any time.
• Your documents, recordings, ledgers and transcripts stay on your machine.
• Where an application needs a machine identifier for licensing it sends a salted hash, never a raw hardware ID.

This website

• No third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
• Aggregate request metrics only, with no cross site profile.
• If you give us an email address, it is used for that purpose and no other.
